Passenger Side Door Wont Lock Or Unlock

The interior switch buttons and remotes will not unlock the passenger side door.

I d start by pulling the inner panel off and checking for a bad connection or cut wire. My right front passenger door won t lock or unlock in response to the key. Turn key twice when opening ie turn right. My guess is that it s either the solenoid or the wiring in the door or the wiring in the door jamb.

Assuming it s the front passenger s side door we know that the smart entrance control unit and fuses are good because the rear locks work. I have to lock and unlock the door manually on the inside of the car. Driver side doors all unlock and lock when used with the remote keyless entry and on the unlock and lock button on the driver side. Remove the battery ground cable and see if the door locks unlock. I can t unlock the door by inserting the key either.
